what is pedals & poses?

Pedals & Poses was born out of my love of fitness, particularly of yoga and cycling. As a fitness student, I constantly sought balance - both physically and mentally. Spin provided the intense, heart pumping cardio rush I enjoyed while yoga allowed me to strengthen, lengthen, and quiet my mind. After many years of practicing yoga and attending cycling classes, I started to dream about opening my own studio - a space where students could achieve their fitness goals in a balanced, supportive manner. As my first step towards achieving that goal, I began teaching a variety of fitness classes and expanding my knowledge of health, fitness, and exercise science. Today, I teach several resident classes around the Iowa City area, as well as lead private events, workshops, and everything in between. Be it in the studio or through a blog post, I love supporting students on their fitness journey.
